motorsport art by michael turner featuring john surtees and jochen rinds at belgian gp 1966

Michael Turner is one of the most renown motorsport artists of the last century. He’s been painting since the 50s, and his portfolio covers Formula 1, sports car racing, IndyCar and other series from every decade since. You may have seen his 60s Monaco GP posters, or the original McLaren logo featuring a Kiwi bird he created for Bruce McLaren. If you’ve seen the 1966 movieĀ Grand Prix, his art is throughout the motion picture.

Countless drivers, teams, sponsors and manufacturers are clients of his, so isn’t it time you picked up a print? Prices range from a 1.50 British pounds for one of his traditional Christmas cards to around 60-70 pounds for 20″ x 17″ prints, many of which are hand signed by Turner himself. And yes, he ships internationally. Browse his gallery by hitting the button below.
